The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (IPBC), operating under the brand name KAN, has announced a strategic partnership with ACRCloud to implement advanced music recognition technology across its radio stations. This collaboration aims to enhance the listener experience by providing real-time music identification services across IPBC’s digital platforms.

The implementation will cover IPBC’s radio network, including KAN Gimel, KAN 88, and Kol Hamuzika. ACRCloud’s cutting-edge audio fingerprinting technology will enable automatic music recognition and monitoring across music content on the stations.

The system will leverage ACRCloud’s extensive database of over 150 million tracks to provide accurate, real-time music identification. The technology will be integrated into IPBC’s website and mobile applications, allowing listeners to instantly identify songs playing across KAN radio stations.

This partnership represents a significant step in IPBC’s digital-first strategy. The integration will enhance transparency in music broadcasting and improve the listener experience by providing immediate access to song information across IPBC’s digital platforms.
