[Tokyo/Beijing, December 15th, 2017] Japanese electronic product manufacturer SHARP employs Music & Humming recognition services of Beijing based music recognition service provider ACRCloud on its mobile robot – RoBoHoN.
RoBoHoN is one of the world’s first mobile robot that launched by SHARP in 2016. This humanoid robot can walk on two legs and is compact enough (approx. 19.5 cm tall) to be carried almost anywhere. RoBoHoN has many features such as camera, email, search, RoBoHoN can grow to accommodate more natural communication with the user by learning the user’s profile and usage situation.
With this partnership, RoBoHoN will be able to recognize the songs played in surrounding environment and read the song title and artist name. Users are also able to hum a song to get RoBoHoN recognize it. This partnership was made by SyncPower, ACRCloud’s agent in Japan.
